It’s Always Frustrating when You Try to Update Your Google Chrome Browser and It Doesn’t Update,

I’m not the kind of Person likes keeping outdated apps on My Phone because I feel the Latest Apps Or Updates often come with New and Cool Features so I Like Keeping up to The Tends.

Being Unable to Update your apps to the Latest Version Can Be quite disturbing as in the Case of Google Chrome Browser .

I didn’t really know why it does not Update easily as all Other Browser does but after sometime I Found Out How to finally Fix It.

Apparently it Has A Partner in Crime which also does not Update which is The Android System WebView.

How to Fix The Chrome update Issue

• First Of All go to Setting > App & Notifications Locate the First App Android System WebView and Clear it’s Data/Storage

• Secondly look for GOOGLE PLAY STORE and Clear it’s Data/Storage Also.

Now Open Your Google Play Store, Go to Your Apps and Update the Android System WebView First it Should Work Now

After its has been Updated Successfully,

proceed to Updating Your Google Chrome Browser, It Should be able Update Now.

Depending on Your Device The Google Chrome Might still be Able to Update without first Updating the Android System WebView,

Whichever way you Must Follow the First Step By Clearing The Data/Storage.

I Hope This Gets Fixed Soon But For The Main Time This Is How to Update Your Chrome Browser if You’re Facing This Problem.
