Capcom has officially launched Resident Evil 3 for iPhone, iPad, and Mac, bringing the survival horror classic to Apple devices. Originally released on consoles in 2020, this latest version allows gamers to experience the terror of Raccoon City on mobile and desktop platforms.
In Resident Evil 3, players control Jill Valentine, a former S.T.A.R.S. officer, as she fights to escape the zombie-infested city while being pursued by the relentless Nemesis. The game features high-quality graphics, immersive storytelling, and support for controllers, making it more accessible for serious gamers.
The game is available as a free download on the App Store, but only a limited portion is accessible without payment. To unlock the full version, users need to make an in-app purchase of $9.99 (until April 16). There’s also an optional $1.99 purchase to unlock all in-game rewards.
For the best experience, players will need an iPhone 15 Pro or later, an iPad with an M1 chip or newer, or a Mac with an M1 chip or later. One purchase grants access across all three platforms, and progress syncs seamlessly between devices.
With a file size of 31GB, players will need sufficient storage before getting into the action-packed horror experience.
