Globacom honoured 115 outstanding dealers at its 2026 Glo Partners’ Reward Gala held at Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos, rewarding top performers with cars, cash and a clear message: the network investment is not slowing down.
The event recognised high-performing partners for their contributions during the first six months of the year, while encouraging them to sustain and improve their performance going forward.
Exceptional performers received an impressive range of prizes including brand-new Toyota vehicles, Kia Rio cars, Suzuki vehicles, premium televisions and other valuable rewards.

The evening’s highest honour, the Top National Partner Star Prize, went to Demi Global Resources, which received a brand-new 2026 Toyota Camry in recognition of its outstanding nationwide performance. In addition, fifteen other outstanding partners also drove home in brand-new vehicles.
The “Rep Your Region” Best Dressed Competition was one of the major attractions of the evening, where partners showcased Nigeria’s rich cultural heritage in colourful traditional attire. Alamin Muhammed Suleiman of Benjee Communication and Anthonia Agbasi of Chikadef Global Limited emerged winners in the male and female categories, each receiving a cash prize of N500,000.
The event was hosted by media personalities Gordons and Mo Abebe, with Globacom brand influencers KieKie and Toyin Abraham also in attendance.
Speaking at the event, Abdul Rasaq Ande, Globacom’s Cluster Head, Lagos 2, described dealers as the foundation of the company’s business success.
Ande reflected on 23 years of operations and promised that the company would continue investing heavily in next-generation tools, upgrading its infrastructure, and ensuring its network stays second to none.
This commitment comes as competition in Nigeria’s telecom sector remains fierce, with MTN, Airtel and 9mobile all competing aggressively on network quality, pricing and digital services.
Beyond the awards, Globacom unveiled new customer-focused initiatives aimed at delivering greater value to subscribers. Chief among them is the More Data More Value proposition, designed to ensure subscribers receive increased value for every naira spent on data services.
The company also introduced Gloria, an AI-powered Glo Café voice assistant designed to improve customer engagement and service delivery in six languages. The assistant is integrated into the Glo Café platform, which Globacom says is also being upgraded for a richer digital experience.
The expanded Borrow Me Credit service will also ensure that subscribers remain connected even when they have exhausted their airtime balance. This is a move clearly aimed at retaining lower-income subscribers who frequently run out of credit.
For everyday Glo users, the gala was more than a party for dealers. It was a public commitment by the company to put more value into every recharge, improve the network, and make digital services easier to access. Whether those promises show up on the ground, in better signal and cheaper data, is what millions of subscribers across Nigeria will be watching for.
